Just wanted to say that I appreciated the banner of your blog - looks to be taken from the ICL building of the South Pole. A great, great place. Came across this on a link from Slashdot regarding Chilean telescopes.

Thanks. I got the photo from IceCube’s Jim Haugen when I was visiting the Pole.

Terrific. Hats Off to you from a Bhilaian (Sector 9). Came to know about you from Amitava Kundu (my next door neighbor). Can we meet when you come to India next time?
Sincere regards

Anil, thanks for your generosity of spirit in writing this blog and making your new book. Just heard about your book via the Kepler’s Bookstore newsletter. Looking forward to your appearance there in Menlo Park, CA USA on Weds March 17, http://www.keplers.com/keplers-events-coming-soon

Anil….As a non-scientist I really enjoyed your Edge of Physics work; very readable & a tremendous review of some of the latest research efforts under way in the field of cosmology. Where can I find more about your education, etc? (I’m a 77 year old retired attorney receiving a real treat from books such as yours…..are you planning further books on similar topics?) Charlie
